Mary Harvey


AYSO Hall of Famer - Class of 2003

Harvey has had an impact on soccer as a player and an administrator both domestically and internationally - and it all started with her involvement with AYSO.  As an athlete, Mary is known for being a part of the 1991 Women's World Cup Championship team and the 1996 Olympic Gold Medal team.

Off of the field, she has established U.S. Soccer's Athletes' Council and is the most outspoken proponent of players' rights on the U.S. Soccer Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

She currently heads the U.S. Soccer task force writing the U.S. Soccer Player Bill of Rights.  Mary also is active on FIFA committees and the United States Olympic Committee's Athlete Advisory Counsel.  She continues to contribute to the advancement of AYSO.
