playing for the Morgan Juniors at 16 years of age then graduated to the
senior team.

During his time the team were champions in their own area and
reached the semi-finals of both the U.S. Open and Amateur Cups. In 1930 was
elected president of the Keystone League and became a member of the West
Penn Soccer Council. In 1942 was elected president of the West Penn Soccer
Football Association, a position he held until 1952. Served as both chairman
and vice chairman of the National Amateur Cup Committee.
