In 1939 he resumed
playing with Forest Park, Schwaben and Slovaks in Chicago. In 1943 became editor
and publisher of the National Soccer News and then Secretary
of the Chicago National Soccer League from 1948 through to
1954. Elected president of the United States Soccer Football
Association in 1963 and served two terms.
