President of the New York State Association from its
reorganization in 1928 till 1948 and chairman of the Foreign
Relations Committee of the USFA from its inception. First to
resign from the American Olympic Committee as a protest against games
being held in Japan while the latter was warring with China. In 1948
became the first American to become a council member of FIFA.
Represented the USSFA at almost all international congresses. Served
with the U.S. Army in the first World War and retired as Colonel
Surgeon.
