Known to everyone as Vic, he was born in the small
town of Black Diamond, about 20 miles east of Tacoma and was a lifelong
resident, and mayor from 1969 to early in 1974.

A well known player and administrator in Washington State,
he was for many years secretary of the Washington State Soccer Association. For 43 years he worked as a meter
reader for Seattle Steam and was a shop steward with Local 77, Electrical
Workers Union for 37 years. He was
a member of the Black Diamond Elks, the Eagles and Sons of Italy as well as
the Washington State Pioneers Association and the Renton Historical Society.
