Played with St. Mary’s Celtic from 1931 to 1938. Played in the New York State Cup and
Metropolitan League Cup in 1934-35.
St. Mary’s joined the American Soccer League in 1936, and he
captained the squad in the U.S. Open Cup final in 1938. Played for the New York Americans
1939-40, Brooklyn Wanderers 1941-45 and Brookhattan Galicia
1945-1949. Turned to coaching in
1949, first with Brookhattan and Swiss F.C. Coached Brooklyn Celtic of the National Soccer League of
New York from 1961-1968, winning three championships during his
tenure. Served as president of National Soccer
League of New York in 1968, and was named First Vice President in 1970.
