Played most of his career in
the Pittsburgh area for Castle Shannon and later with Harmarville where
he won U.S. Open Cup medals in 1952 and 1956 and an Amateur Cup medal in
1951.

Selected for the U.S. World Cup team in 1950 and made the trip to
Brazil. However, he didn't win
his first cap for the U.S. until 1954 when he played in a World Cup game
against Haiti. Also played for
the U.S. against the League of Ireland in Dublin in 1952.
His father
Robert B. Craddock
was inducted in the National Soccer Hall of Fame as a builder in 1959.
